𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗩𝗜𝗜 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠

As activities ramp up for the month of June, executives and division chiefs from the regional and provincial offices of DAR Region VII convened for an Expanded Executive Committee (ExeCom) Meeting on June 2, 2026.

Among the key agenda items discussed were the upcoming simultaneous distribution of Electronic Titles (E-Titles) and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (CoCRoM) in Cebu Province, as well as the DAR-LRA Assessment on the Generation and Issuance of E-Titles under the Parcelization Component of the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project and the target-setting activities for Calendar Year 2026 to be held in Bohol.

Administrative, operational, and legal matters were likewise discussed and addressed during the meeting, which was led by Regional Director Melvin Castor V. Silvestre, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) for Operations Atty. Marianito Q. Mojica Jr., and OIC-ARD for Administration Sheila M. Mondragon.

The provincial offices of Bohol and Cebu were also represented by Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officers (PARPOs) II Ronald I. Pumatong, Ph.D. and Christian Louis G. Luna with OIC-PARPOs I Jenette R. Oporto and Gersyval O. Vestal.

𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗜𝗖-𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢 𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗗

DARPO Cebu welcomes Ms. Therese Lynn L. Enemecio, Senior Agrarian Reform Program Officer of DAR Regional Office VII, as the newly designated Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer (CARPO) for Land Tenure Improvement and Development (LTID) effective June 1, 2026.

The designation was formally acknowledged during a turnover ceremony led by PARPO II Christian Louis G. Luna and attended by DARPO Cebu officials and personnel.

The office likewise extended its sincere appreciation to Ms. Eleanor A. Ursonal for her dedicated service and valuable contributions during her tenure as former caretaker for LTID.

The turnover activity highlighted DARPO Cebu’s commitment to ensuring a smooth leadership transition and sustaining the effective delivery of agrarian reform services in Cebu.

𝗗𝗔𝗥 𝗩𝗜𝗜 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝟮𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗕 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

The Regional and Provincial Information Officers of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Region VII placed second in the Web Designing Practical Assessment held during the concluding day of the Website Development and Enhancement Training for Regional Information Officers (RIOs) and Provincial Information Officers (PIOs), on May 27, 2026, in Bacoor, Cavite.

Participated in by information officers from DAR regional and provincial offices nationwide, the activity featured a friendly practical assessment designed to evaluate the participants’ application of lessons and techniques discussed throughout the three-day training.

Representing DAR Region VII were RIO Stephanie T. Becari, PIO Raxxin Dane L. Perocho, and PIO Shaina Mae A. Rubino. Despite being among the teams with the fewest members, the group successfully delivered an impressive output during the assessment.

The practical exercise formed part of the training’s culminating activities, allowing participants to demonstrate their creativity, technical skills, and understanding of website development and enhancement.

Present during the activity and serving as members of the panel were Undersecretary Rowena Niña O. Taduran, DPA; Assistant Secretary Jose Jenil C. Demorito; Director Agnez B. Mendoza; Director Eric Arevalo; and resource speakers Mr. Daniw Q. Santiago and Mr. Gabriel Rivera.

In observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice), please be advised that tomorrow, May 27, 2026, is declared a regular holiday.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office Cebu operations will be suspended to allow our Muslim brothers and sisters to solemnize this sacred occasion.

Regular operations and services will resume on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

We wish our Muslim community a blessed, meaningful, and peaceful Eid’l Adha. May the spirit of faith, sacrifice, and charity inspire us all.

𝙈𝘼𝙔 26, 2026 | The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office (DARPO) Cebu, headed by PARPO II Christian Louis G. Luna, convened members of the Committee on Anti-Red Tape for formal proceedings in line with ARTA Memorandum Circular No. 2021-11 and Republic Act No. 11032.

Held at the DAR Conference Room, the activity focused on strengthening compliance with Republic Act No. 11032 and enhancing internal mechanisms that promote transparency, accountability, and faster delivery of government services.

May 25, 2026 | DAR Cebu officials led by PARPO II Christian Louis G. Luna together with MARPO Mary Lyn Remo and PCAO Judly O. Li paid a courtesy call to Mayor Valdemar M. Chong in preparation for the upcoming CLOA and COCROM Distribution in Naga City, Cebu.

The meeting highlighted the strong coordination between DAR and the local government to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of agrarian reform programs for beneficiaries.
