SK Sawang Calero proudly presents YOUthNiVerse: Kabatan-onan in Action 🌌✨

A dynamic and purpose-driven youth initiative designed to empower the next generation of leaders, YOUthNiVerse serves as a platform where advocacy meets action, learning becomes meaningful, and leadership is cultivated through experience. This activity brings together the youth of the community in an engaging environment filled with interactive discussions, experiential learning sessions, team-building activities, and fun-filled moments that inspire collaboration and creativity.

More than just an event, YOUthNiVerse: Kabatan-onan in Action is a movement that encourages young individuals to discover their voices, strengthen their values, and take an active role in shaping positive change. It aims to develop socially aware, responsible, and empowered youth who are ready to lead with purpose and serve the community with heart.

Pahibalo sa tanang residente sa Barangay Sawang Calero nga adunay People’s Day+ Medical and Diagnostic Services kay ipahigayon karong Disyembre 12–14, 2025, gikan 7:00 AM hangtod 3:00 PM, sa Barangay Sawang Calero Gym.

Ang maong kalihokan maghatag ug libre nga medical consultation, diagnostic services, ug tambal, lakip na ang tambal para sa leptospirosis.

Gina awhag ang tanang moadto nga magdala sa mosunod nga requirements:
- Valid government-issued ID
- Photocopy sa valid ID
- Voter’s Certification

Gihangyo ang publiko nga mokuyog ug mudawat sa maong serbisyo alang sa kaayuhan ug panglawas sa atong komunidad.

PROJECT DRAINAGE | Sawang Calero, Block 2

📍 Community Meeting Update

Yesterday, Barangay Captain Sergio Ocaña met with the residents of Block 2, Sawang Calero to discuss the upcoming major drainage system project under the initiative of Congressman Edu Rama.

This drainage project is a top priority for the barangay leadership, especially in response to long-standing flooding issues that have already affected neighboring blocks and barangays.

Project Goals:
• Ensure proper water flow in canals
• Prevent flooding and stagnant water
• Make it easier to remove waste, plastic, and other debris
• Promote community safety, especially for children, senior citizens, PWDs, and individuals with health concerns

The project is expected to begin implementation next year. Kap. Sergio emphasized that his office remains open for feedback and discussion, especially from those who were unable to attend the initial consultation.

We express our sincere gratitude to Congressman Edu Rama for funding this vital project, and to Kap. Sergio Ocaña and the Barangay Council for initiating and driving it forward.

Together, we move toward a cleaner, safer, and flood-free Sawang Calero! ❤️

In observance of Pride Month, the Barangay Sawang Calero, through the Sangguniang Kabataan, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, and the Sawang Calero LGBTQIA+ (SaCa) Community, with the support of our Barangay Officials and our Barangay Captain, Sergio S.
