Museo Sugbo is Cebu’s provincial museum, housed in the former Cárcel de Cebú—once the main prison for the Visayas. Designed by Spanish architect Domingo de Escondrillas in 1869, the building served as the Cebu Provincial Jail during the American and post-war periods, and was later renamed the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) in the 1980s.
