Sangguniang Kabataan - Brgy. Ermita

A fire has recently affected our barangay, including our neighbors and some of our closest friends. Many of them lost everything and are now in urgent need of help.

We, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Council, humbly appeal for your kindness and support—whether in cash or in kind—for the victims of this tragic incident.

One of our SK council member Neka Abegail Duran is also among the victims, making this situation even more heartbreaking for our community.

We are reaching out with hope, knowing that many are willing to lend a helping hand during this difficult time.

Any kind of support would mean so much. The affected families are in urgent need of:

• Clothes
• Food and drinking water
• Basic necessities (blankets, hygiene kits, etc.)
• Any form of assistance or donations

We are currently organizing donations. If you would like to help, please send a message so we can properly coordinate everything.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ermita proudly offers free services at the Learning Hub to support students and residents in their academic and community needs. It is a must to complete the KK Profiling before using the services.

A New Home for the Youth of Barangay Ermita!

We proudly celebrate the official opening and blessing of the Barangay Ermita SK Hub, a space dedicated to empowering the youth, strengthening leadership, and creating opportunities for collaboration within our community.

The blessing was graciously officiated by Rev. Fr. Neil Bullos, OAR, marking a meaningful start for a place where ideas, service, and unity among the youth will continue to grow.

This project was made possible through the efforts of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ermita, led by Hon. John Christian M. Pelina, whose dedication to youth development continues to inspire progress in our community.

May this SK Hub become a center for creativity, leadership, and positive change for the young people of Barangay Ermita.

The SK took the initiative to organize an activity that brought hope and assistance to those affected by the recent typhoon. Guided by the leadership of our SK Chairman and the dedication of the SK Council, and made possible through the generosity of our donors in partnership with BIGBOY CHENG, GIVE BACK CEBU, and TWIN TALK, we were able to make a meaningful difference proving that even small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the KK officers, Teachers, BPSO, and Brgy Staff for their voluntary support. While the SK’s primary focus remains the youth, we continue to serve beyond, reaching out to the community with compassion and commitment. Truly, it is never too late to extend a helping hand. 🥰❤️
