A special treat for San Pio Village!
JPIC-IPC, Inc. successfully hosted a large-scale medical mission sponsored by Senator Raffy Tulfo's Action Agad program. The mission featured a mobile laboratory offering chest xray, ECGs, and other diagnostic services. A team of doctors from various specialties--including pulmonology, general medicine, cardiology, internal medicine, and dermatology--provided consultations. Patients also received free medicines, including maintenance drugs and vitamins.
Members of the Talisay City Council headed by Vice Mayor Aznar and Barangay Dumlog Kagawads graced the ocassion.

Dynamic Pediatric Therapy Center and Reformed Guardians Legion, Inc. treated the children (ages 6 to 9 yo) of San Pio Village to hot meals after they played exciting games. Likewise, the children were given school supplies.

San Pio Village will be busy this weekend. CHAMPS will generously takes care of the children and lactating mothers. Below are the events and schedules for the SPV residents only:
1) Saturday, December 6
- Talk on the importance of breast feeding, etc. to lactating mothers
- Hot meals feeding for children ages 3 yo to 5 yo
2) Sunday, December 7
- Hot meals feeding for children aged 6 yo to 9 yo.

In collaboration with the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Balamban, Cebu, we will visit families in the most affected barangays of Nagka and Cantuod to bring them love, hope, and support.

We have just completed the distribution of JPIC-IDC’s relief goods to our home partners in San Pio Village, who were affected by the recent flash floods. This time, JPIC-IDC provided 5 kilos of rice, a dining set, and clothing generously donated by the residents of St. Arnold Janssen Village in Bagkal, Lapu-Lapu.
It is worth noting that each home partner has already received a total of 20 kilos of rice from JPIC-IDC, aside from canned goods and other basic needs.

A group of runners that called themselves RUN UTB RUN gave packed meals and basic supplies to residents of San Pio Village today.

JPIC-IDC gave out school supplies to 65 sponsored children from San Pio Village whose belongings including their books, notebooks and others were washed out by the floods brought about by Typhoon Tino on November 4.

Background of the Organization
Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation–Integrated Development Center, Inc. (JPIC-IDC, Inc.) is a faith-based non-government organization (NGO) established in 1999 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2001. It started with the efforts of the Divine Word Missionaries (SVD) in strong partnership with religious congregations (RGS, SSpS), funding agencies, lay partners, local Church and LGUs.
The Direction-Setting Body of JPIC-IDC, Inc., the Board of Trustees (BOT), is composed of seven persons from varied sectors representing the Church, the Academe and professionals in private practice.
For years, the organization has been implementing various projects spread across the Visayas and Mindanao under its four flagship programs, namely: Education, Economic and Cooperative Development, Human and Community Development and Advocacy for Women and Children.
The organization boasts of its strategy of being fully present in the field with its staff working closely with the marginalized partners like the dumpsites dwellers, informal settlers, street children, prostituted women, fisher folks and farmers.
