Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Division Update

The personnel of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Division together with three (3) On-the-Job Trainees from Cebu Technological University โ€“ Barili Campus, successfully conducted the assembly and testing of Walking-Type Agricultural Tractors with Rotary Tillers.

These agricultural machines will be distributed to various Local Government Units (LGUs) across Cebu Province to support vegetable production and promote farm mechanization. The equipment will help farmers improve the efficiency of land preparation, reduce labor requirements, and increase productivity.

The Walking-Type Agricultural Tractor with Rotary Tiller serves as an essential tool for the secondary stage of land preparation, providing thorough soil pulverization and seedbed preparation necessary for successful crop establishment.

Through the continued provision of agricultural machinery and equipment, the Provincial Government remains committed to enhancing agricultural productivity, strengthening food security, and improving the livelihood of Cebuano farmers.

Tinatayang mayroong 2,045 Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (ABEs) ang nagbibigay serbisyo-publiko sa ibaโ€™t ibang rehiyon at inaasahang madaragdagan pa.

Patunay lamang ito sa mahalagang ginagampanan ng Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering sa pagsulong ng at sa pagsasaka at pangingisda. ๐ŸŒพ

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: The Cebu Provincial Government, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, is now accepting applications for two job-order (JO) positions.

Available positions include one (1) driver for Re**er Van with Salary Grade 3 and one (1) tractor operator with Salary Grade 4. Interested applicants are advised to submit their application letter together with their biodata via email at [email protected] not later than May 29, 2026.
