In celebration of Privacy Awareness Week 2026, the hospital reinforced its commitment to securing your personal information.

Initiated by our Legal Officer Atty Ellen R. Nalia and Data Protection Officer Theresa S. Rayla, our observance focused on practical preparedness. Following our May 21 training, selected high-risk units underwent surprise onsite, and phone-based security drills.
The goal of these simulations was to test our real-time policy enforcement under pressure. Moving forward, we will use the results to bridge operational gaps and further strengthen our institutional compliance.

By aligning legal frameworks with these active exercises, we ensure our team remains compliant and ready to protect your data. For us, celebrating privacy means continuously elevating our standards to protect the trust our patients place in our care.

In fulfillment of its mission to provide excellence in maternal care, St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital conducted a Safe Motherhood Caravan at the Out-Patient Department today, May 14, 2026. The event was led by the Public Health Unit, featuring insights from Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RPFP) Committee Vice Chair Dr. Mercedes Jane Sia and Hospital Dietician Ms. Nilda Binolirao.

The session provided first-time mothers with comprehensive guidance on the Safe Motherhood program, specifically addressing prenatal and maternal health, nutrition, safe delivery, and postpartum care. Discussions also extended to newborn health and the importance of family planning and birth spacing. Through these initiatives, the hospital remains committed to uplifting the health and well-being of mothers and newborns through education and clinical excellence.
