(May 11 Birthday & Post-Election Thoughts)

Thank you to everyone who greeted me on my birthday last May 11! I wasn’t able to reply to all of you, na busy na gyud para sa election day, but please know that I truly appreciate every message and greeting.

A special thank you to Tito Mayor Tom for giving me the opportunity to be part of the BOPK Family, a dream come true for me. I had the best campaign experience, and I will always be grateful.

To Mayor Nestor, Congratulations! I know you will be a great leader for our city, you truly deserve this victory.

To Cong. Bebot, thank you so much for your support and guidance throughout the campaign.

💡 ANG STORYA UG INSPIRASYON SA LIGHT UP CEBU

Niadtong 2015, mikatag ang litrato sa 9-anyos nga batang lalaki nga nagtuon ilawom sa kahayag sa drive thru signage sa usa ka fast food chain dinhi sa Sugbo.

Matod sa bata, alay kuryente sa ilang balay maong didto siya nagtuon. Gamit ang usa ka gamayng plastic nga lamisa, inubanan sa iyang dakong determinasyon, iyang gihimong iyahang luna nya makatuo ang kadalanan—pamatuod nga kung adunay tinguha, mangita gyud og paagi.

Kadto nga eksena maoy nagtukmod sa pangutana:

Pila pa kaha ka bata ang kinahanglan pa moadto sa dalan o mangita pa ug kahayag para lang makakat-on?
