In the spirit of Christmas where gift-giving and sharing are encouraged especially to the less privileged in society, the PIA 7 and the AGIO 7 in cooperation with the Cebu Federation of Beat Journalists (CFBJ) and the Rotary Club of Cebu East (RCEE) plan to conduct a feeding program to the residents of Gasa sa Gugma, a home for the dying and the destitute in Mabolo, Cebu City.
As a way of giving back and thanking the Lord Almighty for our blessings, we are appealing to the AGIO-7 members to donate any monetary amount for the pack lunch to around 90 residents and request your presence as much as possible to join us on that day.

VECO consumers, we may experience ROTATIONAL BROWNOUT tomorrow!!!

from Mr. Sebastian Lacson of VECO via Dyla Cebu
Veco Cebu's normal feed from Leyte (1/3 of our supply) cannot be transmitted due to toppled high voltage structures on that ravaged island. So far no restoration timeline is committed. Tomorrow, when Veco demand is in high gear (Monday), power supply will be outstripped by demand and we will likely experience rotational brownouts. We apologize for this fortuitous event and please know we are exhausting all means to procure additional supply in the meantime.

As consumers we can do our part by lowering our respective electricity consumption in order to keep the deficit as low as possible.

Thank you.
