With roughly nine percent of the total medals still to be verified and accounted for in the official tally, Central Visayas is clinging to fourth place in the overall standings, hoping to secure its highest finish since the 2018 Palarong Pambansa in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Palarong Pambansa 2026 comes to a close with Region VII proudly securing 4th place in the overall standings. 🏆🏅

Representing the delegation, Atty. Fiel Almendra, Assistant Regional Director, and Mr. Tomas Pastor, Regional Sports Coordinator, received the certificate and award during the Closing Ceremony in Agusan del Sur.

Beyond the medals and victory, the journey was filled with unforgettable memories, valuable lessons, and friendships forged through sportsmanship. As one chapter ends, the inspiration and determination gained from this year's events will continue to fuel Region VII's pursuit of excellence. Cheers to greater heights, Fighters!
