It is a habitat that shelters, nurtures and protects life. It is a structure, including its environs that basically provides a better quality of life; practices conservation in the use of resources such as energy, water and plants; uses local resources as well as reused and recycled materials for the construction of the structure; and man-made place that improves air quality and waste reduction.
