𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 - 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

The National Youth Commission (NYC) successfully conducted the Youth Health Forum on December 5–7, 2025 at Southview Hotel, Dumaguete City.

Representative Kent Anthony represented Cebu City at the forum, which served as a vital platform for young leaders and youth stakeholders to engage in discussions on pressing youth health concerns, including Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASHR), Substance Abuse, HIV and AIDS, Teenage Pregnancy, and Mental Health. Through dialogue, capacity-building sessions, and shared experiences, participants strengthened their commitment to promoting a healthier, more informed, and empowered youth sector.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sir Eric Ramos for personally inviting the Cebuano youth to this meaningful activity and for his continued support in advancing youth development initiatives.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡'𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

The Cebu City Children’s Summit 2025, held on November 30 to December 1 at the Cebu Business Hotel, marked a strong and unified stand in celebration of the National Children’s Month.

With the powerful theme “OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban!”, the summit sent a clear message: child protection is a shared responsibility. It served as a platform to confront online abuse, strengthen advocacy, and uphold the safety, dignity, and rights of every child.

Meaningful discussions and learning sessions were facilitated by Representative Kent Anthony, YORP Youth Reign, Malubog SK Councilor Gab and a number of SK Chairpersons ensuring that conversations remained youth-centered, rights-based, and action-oriented.

This summit reaffirmed Cebu City’s commitment to defending children’s rights, protecting their welfare, and building a safer future for the next generation.

Representative Kent Anthony represented the Cebu City Youth Development Office (CCYDO) and the Cebu City Local Youth Development Council (CCLYDC) last November 22, 2025 at the Sta. Rosa City Youth Development Council Benchmarking Symposium, where Cebu City’s best practices in youth development were presented and shared.

As part of the engagement, he also met with Honorable Mayor Arlene Arcillas of Sta. Rosa City, fostering meaningful dialogue on youth governance, collaboration, and innovative approaches to empowering young people.

This exchange reflects Cebu City’s continuing commitment to knowledge-sharing, collaboration across islands, and the strengthening of youth development initiatives nationwide.

In this role, Rep. Kent Anthony will take the lead in lobbying and advocating for the resolutions passed by the 13th National Youth Parliament, ensuring that youth policies and programs are effectively implemented across the region. This milestone reflects his dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to amplifying the voices of the Cebuano youth at both regional and national levels.

His election underscores the growing recognition of Cebu City youth leaders and their ability to contribute to meaningful, inclusive, and impactful youth development initiatives.

The Cebu City Local Youth Development Council (CCLYDC) proudly announces that Council Member Kent Anthony Alberio has been accepted to the 13th National Youth Parliament – National Assembly, making him the lone representative of Cebu City at this prestigious national gathering of youth leaders!

He will be flying to Vigan, Ilocos Sur this coming November 17–21, 2025 to participate in the National Assembly, where he will represent Cebuano youth, share insights, and contribute to shaping policies and programs for the youth sector nationwide.

We are confident that his participation will bring valuable insights, collaboration, and solutions for the betterment of youth development across the Philippines.

Last July 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the Cebu City Local Youth Development Council (CCLYDC) paid a courtesy call to Hon. Mayor Nestor Archival, Sr. at the Mayor’s Conference Room, 1st Floor Executive Building, Cebu City Hall.

The meeting provided a meaningful avenue to discuss vital youth development matters, including the establishment of the Cebu City AIDS and HIV Council and other pressing youth concerns that call for collective action and stronger policy support.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Archival for his openness, support, and commitment to working hand in hand with the youth sector in building a more inclusive, healthy, and empowered Cebu City.
