Let's be ready for the storm, here are some life saving tips:

1) Store enough food and drinking water that would last for a few days to include medicines. The typhoon may bring in torrential rains and destructive winds that may ruin infrastructures.

2) During the typhoon, its best to put off electrical appliances within the house to prevent any electrical accidents.

3) As much as possible, just stay indoors to ensure safety. During typhoons, electric wires might fall down and compromise safety. Same goes for falling, or even flying debris, which are the usual causes of injuries and casualties.

4) Make sure that all items in your backyard or balcony are fixed. If any of those items can possibly be flown by strong winds, better store them inside in the meantime.

5) Charge all gadgets ahead, as there might be a chance of power failure. Be careful when using candles.

6) Always monitor news updates regarding the typhoon and be ready with flashlights, battery-equipped radios, etc.

7) Most importantly, pray. Nothing beats prayers in times like this. God hears when we call HIM. Let us storm the heavens with prayers then Cebu!!!
