COMELEC Region VII joined today's 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐲𝐓𝐕 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮, represented by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐆. 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧, Assistant Regional Election Director, to discuss important election-related updates.

Among the matters tackled during the forum were the recently concluded voter registration which officially ended last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, as well as preparations and reminders concerning the upcoming 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐊𝐄).

We extend our appreciation to MyTV Cebu and the members of the media for the opportunity to strengthen voter awareness and promote informed participation in the electoral process.

At the ongoing Voter Registration of the 1st District of Cebu City at Robinsons Galleria Cebu, a Person with Disability (PWD) was successfully assisted and accommodated throughout the registration process — a meaningful reminder that voter registration should be accessible, inclusive, and open to all.

The Commission remains committed to bringing voter registration services closer to the people and ensuring that no one is left behind in the democratic process.

We encourage all qualified and unregistered voters to take this opportunity to register and make your voice count in the upcoming elections. Every vote matters, and your participation can help shape the future of our community and our country.

Regional Election Director Atty. Francisco G. Pobe, together with the ORED VII staff, conducted a field visit today in the municipalities of 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬, 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧, to monitor the ongoing voter registration activities and ensure smooth and efficient public service for all applicants.
