๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐: The Civil Relations Group (CRG) Central Visayas actively participated the Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Ramon Duterte Memorial National High School, V. Rama, Guadalupe, Cebu City, June 3, 2026.
Dedicated volunteer personnel rendered their time and effort in cleaning and beautifying the school's backyard garden area. Activities included sweeping dried leaves, gathering twigs and branches, collecting used plastic containers and plant pots, and preparing the garden to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students as they return to school.
Meanwhile, other volunteers carried out carpentry and repair works, including the renovation of damaged chairs and the proper disposal of collected debris to designated waste collection areas.
Through teamwork, volunteerism, and community spirit, CRG Central Visayas continues to support educational institutions and promote a culture of service for the benefit of the youth and the community.

๐๐ข๐ข๐: The Civil Relations Group Central Visayas (CRGCV) participated in the Kick-Off Launching Ceremony of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Bulacao National High School, Cabancalan I, Bulacao, Cebu City today, 01 June 2026.
With the theme โBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,โ the activity aimed to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders in preparing schools for the opening of classes.
As part of the Brigada Eskwela initiative,Philippine Coast Guard personnel painted the school's exterior perimeter wall which contributed to the improvement of the learning environment for students.
The CRGCV remains steadfast in supporting community and educational initiatives that promote volunteerism, unity, and nation-building.

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) has rendered a testimonial parade and review in honor of Rear Admiral Teotimo R Borja Jr PCG, Commander, Coast Guard Civil Relations Service, in Baguio City on 30 May 2026.
Rear Admiral Borja Jr PCG is a proud member of the โTanglaw-diwa" Class of 1992 where he embarked on a lifelong commitment to service and excellence.
Hailing from the historic land of Tanauan, Leyte, he was shaped by the enduring values of discipline, honor, and service.
A scholar and a leader, he graduated 20th in his class at the premier military institution before being commissioned into the naval service.
His extensive career began onboard Coast Guard vessels from 1993 to 1997, where he served with dedication and professionalism.
As a distinguished officer of the PCG, he built a remarkable career across the archipelago, commanding key stations and intelligence offices in Palawan, Davao, Zamboanga, Ozamis, and Tacloban.
His commitment to professional development led him to Sweden, where he successfully earned his Masterโs Degree, further enhancing his expertise in maritime safety and strategic planning.
His international footprint expanded further when he served as the Philippine representative to the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) in Singapore.
Back home, his strategic leadership was instrumental in the Project Management Office, where he oversaw the acquisition of the modern vessels that now form the backbone of the PCG fleet.
Through his visionary stewardship of the PCGโs civil-maritime operations and community relations, he has successfully bridged the gap between the uniform and the maritime public.

๐๐๐๐: The Civil Relations Group Central Visayas (CRGCV), through the Coast Guard Dental ServiceโCentral Visayas (CGDENS-CV) led by Captain Gernil G. Nilo (DS), PCG, successfully participated in the Community Dental Outreach Program dubbed โOn and On, Ngipon Atimanonโ held at the Consolacion Central School Gym, Consolacion, Cebu on 31 May 2026.
The activity was organized by the Municipality of Consolacion through the Municipal Health Office in partnership with the Philippine Dental AssociationโCebu Chapter, volunteers from Philippine Navy(PN),Southwestern University PHINMA College of Dentistry and Barangay Dental Auxiliaries.
A total of 336 dental services were rendered to community beneficiaries, including:

CRGCV and JCI Cebu Bring Hope to Danao City Jail Through Outreach Program
IN PHOTOS: The Civil Relations Group Central Visayas (CRGCV), through the 211th Squadron led by Auxiliary Commander Emmanuel Litigio PCGA, successfully conducted an Outreach Program in partnership with JCI Cebu Inc. at the Danao City Jail Male Dormitory on May 30, 2026.
The activity benefited 100 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), who received one Sharp Flat-Screen Television and 23 boxes of Wow Pasta. As part of the initiative, an open dialogue was also conducted under the ALLS Project ALAMAT, which aims to inspire and empower PDLs to become โLegendary Beyond Prison Wallsโ by fostering personal growth, hope, and positive transformation.
The outreach program reflects the commitment of CRGCV and its partners to support rehabilitation efforts and promote meaningful community engagement within correctional facilities.

๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐:โ The Civil Relations Group Central Visayas (CRGCV) spearheaded by Lieutenant Commander Rochelle T. Clarin PCG together with the Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Community Relations Service (CRS),D-7, Ensign Fhelmar Saragoza PCG, successfully facilitated the simultaneous conduct of the Induction, Donning of Ranks, and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the 201st and 202nd Squadrons held at the HCGDCV Conference Room and Sacred Heart Center, Jakosalem Street, Cebu City on May 23, 2026. โ
โThe meaningful ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Commander of Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV), Captain Jerome Y. Lozada PCG, who formally administered the oath and welcomed the newly inducted members into the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA). A total of twenty (20) aspirant volunteers successfully completed the induction rites, with fourteen (14) assigned to the 201st Squadron and six (6) to the 202nd Squadron.
โ โDuring the ceremony, the newly inducted auxiliaries received their corresponding ranks through the traditional donning of ranks, symbolizing their acceptance of the responsibilities and duties entrusted to them as partners of the Philippine Coast Guard. โ
โThe event highlighted the unwavering commitment of the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary in building a stronger partnership with the community through volunteerism and public service. โ โ

๐๐๐๐๐: The Civil Relations Group Central Visayas (CRGCV), spearheaded by Lieutenant Commander Rochelle T. Clarin PCG together with the 220th Squadron led by Auxiliary Captain Benilda Q. Gadin Pcga successfully conducted a Blood Letting Activity dubbed " Be a Hero, Save Lives" in partnership with Krypton International Resources and the Philippine Red Cross at the Krypton Building, Canjulao 2nd Road, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, 16 May 2026.
The activity gathered a total of 32 volunteer participants, with 20 successfully donating blood for the benefit of patients and communities in need. Successful donors received tokens of appreciation, meals, and snacks in recognition of their invaluable contribution.
The initiative highlights the organizationsโ continued commitment to humanitarian service and community welfare through life-saving activities that promote volunteerism and public.
