LTO SERVICES BEGINNING AT 9PM TONIGHT

It took some time and effort, but I am very pleased to finally announce that LTO is now on board at the Mayor of the Night’s 24/7 Government Services Hub!

At the moment, the infrastructure and permission to take biometrics (fingerprints, etc.) on site are still being requested, but in the meantime, we can still help speed up license renewals and vehicle registrations by processing your application at our location.

[1] Come to our location at Cebu Exchange Tower with all requirements. LTO personnel will be available from 9PM-6AM seven days a week. We will help you with the application and the filling of forms. Once this is done, we will give you a priority slip.

[2] Go to the LTO Cebu City office in Robinson’s Galleria. The priority slip you receive from us will let you go to the front immediately. No need to wait in line the whole day.

I am working to have all processing eventually moved to Cebu Exchange and available 24/7, but since we are dealing with a national agency, it will take some time. In the meantime, I hope making the initial process available at night helps our night workers and others who do not have a lot of extra time during regular office hours.

The Cebu City One Stop Shop is open 24/7 and is located on the 2nd floor of the Cebu Exchange Tower on Salinas Dr., Lahug. No appointment needed.

I understand the demand for National IDs is very high. To address this, I am very happy to announce that PSA has agreed to send extra personnel to implement a third shift on a trial basis in the 24/7 Gov’t Services Hub. For one week starting this Monday, our capacity to process National IDs will increase by 50% and will be available even at 4 in the morning. I hope this helps the BPO and other night shift workers who have been raising this concern.

If demand is high enough, PSA will consider making the extra shift permanent. All City Hall services are of course already 24/7. Salamat PSA-7!
