Municipal Information Office- LGU Clarin

The Local Public Transportation Route Plan (LPTRP) Team meeting today, August 15, 2025, at the SB Session Hall to discuss pressing transportation issues within the municipality.

Attendees including Chairman, Committee on Public Utilities & Traffic Facilities Management, Hon. Freddie B. Malicse, Co-member Hon. Vinceto Go, ABC Pres. Hon. Rey M. Ebarle, Engr. Nosfer P. Clerigo, Municipal Planning and Development Officer, Municipal Treasurer Mr. Christopher L. Japay, Mrs. April Mae F. Blasiño, Tourism Officer, PNP and BFP representative. CSO representative Ms. Glaiza Tuyor.

The meeting focuses regarding the current situation of traffic and public utilities and also identifying and analyzing existing transportation challenges to improve efficiency and commuter safety within the municipality.

LGU Clarin Conducts CSO Conference

The Local Government Unit of Clarin recently held a Civil Society Organization (CSO) conference at Pantad, Poblacion 2, Clarin, Misamis Occidental, Friday, August 4, 2025, bringing together various stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and promote community development.

The conference aimed to recognize the crucial role of CSOs in promoting transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement. By working together, we can build a more inclusive and responsive governance system.

The activity was spearheaded by the CSO Desk Officer Mr. Allan C. Ramirez and in coordination with MLGOO Glecelyne O. Guillen.

On behalf of the Municipal Mayor Riza S. Oaminal Delos Santos, present also during the conference were SB Member Hon. Regino L. Barrientos and the Chairman of Committee on Accreditation, Cooperative and Civil Society Organizations Hon. Kenneth Geralde and hosted by Ms. Glaiza Tuyor.
