The Local Government Unit, headed by Municipal Mayor Engr. Eugeniano Ibarra , conducted a site visit and monitoring of the ongoing road opening project from Barangay Bontud to Buangan.

This initiative is part of the administration’s continued commitment to strengthen infrastructure development, improve accessibility, and promote inclusive growth in the community.

The LGU assures continuous monitoring of the project to ensure its timely completion and adherence to quality standards for the benefit of the constituents.

MANGROVE PLANTING | April 17, 2026

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Clarin, under the leadership of Mayor Eugeniano Ibarra , through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) Office headed by Ms. Nena T. Alisaca, successfully conducted a mangrove planting activity in Barangay Bonbon.

The initiative brought together national agencies, youth organizations, and local stakeholders in support of environmental protection and coastal resilience efforts.

Participating offices /agencies / organizations: Bfp Rvii Clarin Firestation, Coast Guard Mobile-Team Clarin , CLARVA Inc., Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), SSG/4H Club DNHS, SSG BISU, Barangay Youth Governance Organization (BYGO), Parish Youth Ministry (PYM) Clarin, Parish Youth Ministry (PYM) Nahawan, and FSTLP-BISU, SB Member Hon. Nora P. Salera , Staffs from Mayor's Office, MENRO, LCR and DILG..

The activity forms part of the LGU’s continuing commitment to promote sustainable development, protect coastal ecosystems, and strengthen community resilience against climate change.

The Local Government Unit of Clarin expressed its gratitude to all participating agencies, organizations, and volunteers for their active support and cooperation.

Courtesy Visit | April 14, 2026

The Philippine Ports Authority – Port Management Office of Bohol paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Municipal Mayor Hon. Eugeniano Ibarra.

The visit aimed to formally introduce the Acting Port Manager Atty. Diane Steffi T. Guillamon and to strengthen coordination and partnership between the LGU and the port management office. Discussions also covered areas of mutual interest, particularly on port operations and opportunities for collaboration with nearby areas such as Tagbilaran City.

This engagement highlights the commitment of both offices to work together in delivering efficient public service and fostering stronger local governance.

All offices of the Local Government Unit of Clarin, Bohol, except OPCEN, will be closed on this day.

LOOK: ₱1.2 MILLION PROVINCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CLARIN BARANGAYS

The Municipality of Clarin expresses its sincere gratitude to the Provincial Government of Bohol led by Governor Erico Aris Aumentado, together with Congresswoman Van-van Cadorna Aumentado, for the financial assistance extended to our barangays.

A total of ₱1.2 Million has been provided to support various priority projects aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening basic services:

✅ Brgy. Buacao – ₱400,000 for reinforced concrete of open-lined canal (Sitio Centro to Sitio Chicos) to improve drainage system;
✅ Brgy. Danahao – ₱250,000 for slope protection and culvert for barangay road improvement;
✅ Brgy. Bonbon – ₱150,000 for office equipment (3-in-1 printer, outdoor sound system, and laptop);
✅ Brgy. Tangaran – ₱100,000 for barangay office equipment;
✅ Brgy. Nahawan – ₱300,000 for Day Care Improvement.

These initiatives reflect a strong commitment to grassroots development—addressing essential needs in infrastructure, public service delivery, and early childhood care.

The LGU Clarin remains grateful for this continued partnership in bringing responsive and people-centered governance closer to every barangay.
