The 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐚, through the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, successfully concluded the three-day 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 as part of the continuing process of budget preparation for the budget year 2027.
The final day of the hearing focused on the completion of the review, evaluation, and deliberation of the proposed expenditures, programs, projects, and activities of the concerned offices and departments. Discussions centered on the appropriateness, necessity, prioritization, and alignment of proposed expenditures with the municipality’s development goals and service delivery priorities.
The successful completion of the three-day activity reflects the collective commitment of the LGU’s offices and departments to responsible fiscal planning, prudent allocation of public resources, transparency, and accountability.
The 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 extends its appreciation to all LGU officials, department heads, division and section heads, office representatives, and personnel who actively participated and contributed to the successful conduct of the budget hearings.
As the budget preparation process moves forward, LGU Compostela remains committed to developing a responsive, transparent, sustainable, and development-oriented municipal budget that will support effective governance and meaningful public service.
