📢 NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 2026

Today, June 18, 2026, we actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) together with BFP CORTES, RHU CORTES and PNP CORTES to strengthen our preparedness and response during earthquake emergencies.

Through the proper ex*****on of the "DUCK, COVER, and HOLD" procedure, evacuation drills, and emergency response protocols, we continue to promote a culture of safety, readiness, and resilience within our community.

Remember: Preparedness saves lives. Earthquakes can happen anytime, so being informed and ready is everyone's responsibility.

As of 8:00 AM today, 07 May 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 05a) being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "HAGUPIT" (formerly LPA 05b) is still being monitored outside the PAR.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
