The Bangsamoro Ports Management Authority (BPMA) warmly congratulates 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗲 “𝗧𝗲𝗱” 𝗚. 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗱, 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗖)–𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗠, on the conferment of his Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration, Major in Good Governance and Public Service (Honoris Causa) by the Brethren Evangelical School of Theology International, in partnership with Cambridge Training College Britain–London.

The conferment ceremony was held on September 19, 2026, at Eastern Hotel–Aberdeen Court in Quezon City.

This recognition honors Minister Masahud’s years of leadership and commitment to public service and good governance, as well as his continued dedication to serving the Bangsamoro.

The BPMA family joins his family, colleagues, and friends in celebrating this meaningful milestone.

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications–Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOTC-BARMM) warmly congratulates Hon. Termizie “Ted” G. Masahud, Minister of MOTC-BARMM, on the conferment of his Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration, Major in Good Governance and Public Service (Honoris Causa) by the Brethren Evangelical School of Theology International, in partnership with Cambridge Training College Britain–London. 𝗝𝗢𝗟𝗢 𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧, 𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗨 | The 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (BPMA) officially turned over the newly completed two-storey Passenger Terminal Building and Operational Area Perimeter Fence with Gate at Jolo Port, Sulu.

Also part of the improvements at the port is the installation of solar lights, providing additional lighting around the port premises and helping make the area safer and more convenient for passengers, port workers, and other port users, especially during nighttime operations.

These improvements are part of BPMA’s continuing efforts to upgrade port facilities and provide better, safer, and more efficient services to the people of Sulu.

With these improvements, Jolo Port continues to strengthen its role as an important gateway for passengers, goods, and communities in the area.

MALUSO, BASILAN | The Bangsamoro Ports Management Authority (BPMA) conducted a Port Stakeholders’ Forum at the Terminal Management Office (TMO)–Maluso, Basilan, bringing together port stakeholders and partner agencies to discuss matters concerning port operations, services, safety, and other concerns affecting the maritime community.

The forum provided an opportunity for open dialogue, exchange of views, and coordination among stakeholders, with the aim of addressing operational concerns and strengthening cooperation toward more efficient and responsive port services.

The BPMA, under the leadership of Director Bai Amelia M. Abo - General Manager continues to strengthen engagement with port stakeholders and partner agencies in support of safe, orderly, and efficient port operations across the Bangsamoro.

These efforts are carried out under the leadership of BARMM Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua and Minister Termizie G. Masahud of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), in line with the shared vision of a Mas Matatag na Bangsamoro through stronger partnerships, improved services, and responsive governance.

SITANGKAI, Tawi-Tawi | The Bangsamoro Ports Management Authority (BPMA) conducted a Port Stakeholders Forum at the Port of Sitangkai to hear the concerns, recommendations, and experiences of port users, operators, and other stakeholders.

The discussion covered matters related to port operations, safety, security, and service delivery, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to raise concerns, share recommendations, and work together on practical solutions to improve port operations.

The forum was conducted under the leadership of Director Bai Amelia M. Abo, General Manager of BPMA, with the support and guidance of Minister Termizie G. Masahud of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) and BARMM Chief Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua, as part of the Bangsamoro Government’s continuing efforts to strengthen stakeholder coordination and enhance safe, secure, and efficient port services.

The BPMA remains committed to working closely with port stakeholders to ensure responsive and efficient port operations for the people of Sitangkai and the surrounding communities.

JOLO, SULU | The Port of Jolo hosted a Port Stakeholders Forum led by the Bangsamoro Ports Management Authority (BPMA) under the leadership of Director Bai Amelia M. Abo, General Manager, BPMA.
