Our school joins the nation in observing Fire Prevention Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about fire safety and strengthening preparedness in our community. This observance reminds us that preventing fire is a shared responsibility that requires awareness, discipline, and cooperation from everyone.

By encouraging the proper fire safety practices and promoting preparedness at all times, we aim to build a safer and more resilient school environment for our learners, teachers, and staff.

With Typhoon intensifying and Danao City under Signal No. 3, immediate preparation is crucial. Your first priority is your emergency kit: pack non-perishable food, water, medicine, cash, and a fully charged power bank. Before the storm arrives, secure your home by boarding windows and clearing outside areas of any loose items that could become dangerous projectiles. Also, check that your gutters and drains are clear to prevent localized flooding around your home. Prepare now, not later.

Once the heavy winds and rains begin, your single most important measurement is to stay sheltered. Remain indoors in the safest, most central part of your house, far away from windows and glass doors. Continue to monitor official PAGASA and local government advisories using a battery-powered radio or your charged devices. If you experience a lull, remember it could be the eye of the storm—do not venture outside until the all-clear is officially given by authorities.

After the typhoon passes, proceed with extreme caution. Watch out for hazards like sharp debris, rising floodwaters, and especially live, downed power lines. Do not turn on your main power switch if your area has been flooded. Check on neighbors and use the verified emergency hotlines for Danao City only when absolutely necessary. By following these safety measurements, we can ensure our community stays safe and resilient.

Separated into Junior High and Senior High categories, but united by one goal — to prove that knowledge is the strongest defense.
This wasn’t just a quiz — it was a mind-blowing showdown of smarts!

With courage and purpose, our young speakers took the mic and delivered powerful messages that echoed louder than any alarm.
They spoke the truth: “If we are prepared, we are protected.”

Due to more than 100mm of rainfall recorded over the past three days and the increased risk of landslides, face-to-face classes are officially suspended today across Danao City, including STEC.

The agenda covered preperations for monthly events, clarification of members' roles and responsibilities 📌, and other concerns to ensure proper coordination and readiness. 🤝🏻
