Mayor Nito Durano announces that
the directive issued under Executive Order No. 75— setting the suspension of face-to-face classes in Danao— remains in effect until further notice. The City’s Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (CDRRMO) has not yet given the go-signal for classes to resume. Wala gihapon klase.

With Typhoon Tino potentially triggering a Signal No. 1 alert in Danao tomorrow, our danger level is increasing.

The City is actively preparing for heavy rainfall, landslides and storm surge/tsunami threats, especially in the coastal barangays.

He strongly urges ALL PAMILYAN’G DANAWANON to prepare, stay at home, and avoid non-essential travel.

Please prepare: secure your supplies, stay tuned to official weather and disaster advisories, and keep your communication lines open. Stay safe. Let’s look out for one another and monitor updates closely.
