The Sangguniang Panlungsod officially commended the Danao City Police Station led by PLTCOL Henrix P Bancoleta for their outstanding performance in law enforcement.

The commendation stem from the station’s stellar accomplishments in local crime prevention particularly in the effective campaign against illegal drugs, loose fi****ms, and wanted persons. Under the active leadership of PLTCOL Bancoleta, the station has been recognized for its high-performance evaluation rating garnered 8 various awards from the Cebu Police Provincial Office, demonstrating dedication, discipline, and professional competence in upholding public safety.

Moreover, in sincere recognition of years of dedicated, courageous, and unwavering service of PLT Wenceslao B Salimbangon to the nation and to the people of Danao City, the Sangguniang Panlungsod commended and congratulated him for a job well done and a well-deserved retirement.

The 18th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Danao City convened its 2nd Special Session, during which it approved Resolution No. 207-2026 entitled “A Resolution Expressing Profound Sympathy and Heartfelt Condolences to the Bereaved Family of the Late Honorable Jesus ‘Don’ Duterte Durano Sr., Former City Mayor of Danao City, Cebu, and Honoring His Life, Legacy and Dedicated Service to the People of Danao City, Cebu” (Author: Hon.
