The Bureau of Fire Protection Region VII, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐒, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, through the personnel of Danao City Fire Station led by 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘, City Fire Marshal, responded to a vehicular accident involving two (2) individuals — a driver and a passenger after a motorcycle accidentally ran over a dog, causing the vehicle to lose balance and crash.

Initial assessment revealed that the driver sustained multiple abrasion injuries on his extremities and face, primarily resulting from handlebar impact during the collision. The passenger sustained minor injuries and was immediately provided with medical assistance by the responding personnel.

EMS UNIT promptly conducted scene assessment, victim stabilization, and first aid treatment, and subsequently coordinated with concerned agencies for further medical evaluation and transport of the victims.

This incident serves as a timely reminder to all motorists to remain alert, observe proper speed, and stay vigilant for sudden road hazards, particularly in residential and low-visibility areas where animals may unexpectedly cross the roadway.
