On March 14, 2026, at around 2:00 PM, PMSg Jess U. Pobe, Investigation PNCO of Dapa Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PCPT FELOMINO A CRUIZ JR., Acting Chief of Police, attended the Barangay Assembly held at Barangay 4, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.

During the activity, PMSg Pobe delivered a message to the residents, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation with the Dapa MPS in preventing and reporting any illegal activities in the area.

He encouraged the residents to remain vigilant, support the programs and initiatives of the police, and work together to ensure the peace and safety of their community.

On March 14, 2026, at 2:20 PM, PMSg Jess U. Pobe, Investigation PNCO of Dapa Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PCPT FELOMINO A CRUI JR., Acting Chief of Police, attended the Barangay Assembly held at Barangay 5, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.

During the activity, he delivered a message to the residents emphasizing the current peace and order situation in the area and urging them to actively support the police in combating criminality.

The assembly also served to strengthen collaboration between the police and the community and to foster shared responsibility in maintaining peace and order within the barangay.

On March 14, 2026, at about 2:40 PM, PSMS Maria Jonah I. Yuncion, CAD PNCO of Dapa Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PCPT FELOMINO A CRUIZ JR., Acting Chief of Police, attended the Barangay Assembly held at Barangay 13, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.

During the activity, she delivered a message to the residents highlighting the salient features of Republic Act No. 9262 in line with the celebration of National Women’s Month.

Moreover, PSMS Yuncion urged the residents to support the programs and initiatives of the Dapa Municipal Police Station by cooperating with the authorities and reporting any suspicious activities to assist in the fight against criminality in the community.

She further emphasized that community progress and development can only be achieved when peace and order are properly maintained.

On March 14, 2026, at about 9:00 AM, PCPT FELOMINO A CRUIZ JR., Acting Chief of Police of Dapa Municipal Police Station, attended the Barangay Assembly held at Barangay 11, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.

During the activity, he delivered a message to the residents regarding the current peace and order situation in the area. He emphasized the importance of the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign and reminded the residents to remain vigilant against theft and other criminal activities.

He also encouraged the community to actively cooperate with the Philippine National Police by promptly reporting any suspicious individuals or incidents in their locality.

The activity aimed to strengthen police-community partnership and promote collective responsibility in maintaining peace, order, and public safety within the barangay.

At around 4:30 AM on March 13, 2026, an individual reported to the Dapa Municipal Police Station that he sustained a stab wound to the left abdomen allegedly inflicted by his work colleague. The incident reportedly occurred in Barangay 2, Dapa, Surigao del Norte on the same date.

The victim was immediately transported to Siargao Medical Center and later transported to Caraga Regional Hospital, Surigao City for urgent medical treatment.

Personnel of the Dapa Municipal Police Station led by PCPT FELOMINO A CRUIZ JR, Acting Chief of Police, immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation which resulted in the successful apprehension of the suspect at Brgy. Osmeña, Dapa, SDN.

The suspect was informed of his constitutional rights pursuant to the Miranda Doctrine and was subsequently brought to the police station for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges.

The Dapa Municipal Police Station assures the public of its commitment to maintaining peace and order in the community.

PLT LEO D ESPINA, Deputy Chief of Police of Dapa MPS, under the supervision of PCPT FELOMINO A CRUIZ JR, Acting Chief of Police, participated in a live radio interview of Brigada News FM Siargao (90.5) conducted by anchorman Jerome C. Pallong, held at Dapa Municipal Police Station, Barangay 6, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.

During the interview, PLT Espina discussed the recently conducted Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, emphasizing the importance of disaster preparedness and proper safety measures during earthquakes.

He also shared updates regarding the peace and order situation in the Municipality of Dapa, highlighting the continuous efforts of Dapa MPS in ensuring public safety and strengthening coordination with the community. The said interview was conducted on March 14, 2026 at 8:15 AM.
