This Memorandum Circular is concerning the Kalikasan Day to be conducted on January 06, 2024.

The newly elected and appointed Barangay and SK officials of Barangay 7, Dapa, Surigao Del Norte, Siargao Island, are joined to perform a simultaneous clean-up drive, lead by Hon. Kathrina Luego (Sk Chairman/Sk Federated) together with there Sk Members, from 7:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Maintaining a clean environment is pivotal for the well-being of our planet and its inhabitants. As the global population continues to grow, the importance of responsible environmental stewardship becomes increasingly evident. Cleaning the environment is not just a responsibility but a necessity for the survival of our planet. By addressing pollution, promoting sustainable practices, and fostering a global commitment to environmental stewardship, we can ensure a cleaner, healthier world for current and future generations. The time to act is now, and each individual's contribution, no matter how small, is a step towards a more sustainable and vibrant planet. We the youth of our Barangag are encouraged of every Volunteers and Civil Society Organizations to join in the undertaking KALIKASAN DAY 2024, so that our community will clean and healthy, and let's protect our mother nature.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay 7, Polacion, Dapa, Surigao del Norte attended the SK MANDATORY TRAINING of Newly Elected Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, pursuant to Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the "Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015" as amended by RA No. 11768, with following modules:

Session 1: Decentralization and Local Governance
Session 2: Sangguniang Kabataaang History and Salient Features

Session 1: Meetings and Resolution
Session 2: Planning and Budgeting, and
​Module 3
Session 1: Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards
