The LGU Dapa, through the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), continues its 3rd Batch Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) for Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs). This initiative aims to promote recovery and reintegration through a series of interactive sessions, workshops, and group discussions facilitated by Ma’am Shiela D. Banzon and Jhupzy P. Ganihan, service providers from Cagayan de Oro. The CBDRP intervention focuses on behavioral change, personal development, and community support helping PWUDs rebuild their lives and become productive members of society.

MODERN DANCE COMPETITION – GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. Each participating group must consist of a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 members.
2. Participants must be Dapan-on youth aged 15 to 30 years old.
3. The total performance duration should be at least 4 minutes and not exceed 5 minutes.
4. Any type of music may be used, provided that it is appropriate for a modern dance performance.
5. Costumes and choreography must be decent, creative, and appropriate for a general audience.
6. Use of props and background music is allowed but must be prepared in advance and submitted to the organizers prior to the performance.
7. Vulgar, offensive, or sexually explicit content in lyrics, costumes, or movements is strictly prohibited.
8. Decisions of the judges are final and irrevocable.
🎤 VOCAL SOLO, DUET, AND TRIO COMPETITION – GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. Participants must be bona fide students of a school in Dapa or residents of any barangay within the Municipality of Dapa.
2. Participants must be Dapan-on youth aged 15 to 30 years old.
3. Any song genre is allowed (e.g., pop, ballad, OPM, R&B, etc.), provided the lyrics are clean and appropriate for public performance.
4. For Duet and Trio categories, harmonization and coordination will be part of the judging criteria.
5. Contestants must bring their own accompaniment (minus one track or instrument). Live accompaniment is allowed.
6. Performances should not exceed 5 minutes.
7. Offensive language, political messages, or vulgar expressions are not allowed.
8. The judges’ decision shall be final and binding.

Eligibility
Open to all Dapan-on youth aged 15 to 30 years old.
Mechanics and Guidelines
1. Create a TikTok video aligned with the theme “BIDA: Buhay Ingatan, Droga Ayawan.”
2. Entries must promote drug prevention awareness, healthy living, and positive youth behavior.
3. The video may include music, spoken word, acting, dance, or storytelling — be creative and original!
4. Submit your final output to the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) on or before November 24, 2025.
5. Once your entry is officially posted on the LYDO official page, encourage your friends to react (like/heart), share, comment, and view your post.
6. Late submissions will not be accepted.
7. All entries must be original works and should not contain any offensive, political, or copyrighted materials.

October 30, 2025 | Yesterday, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dapa, through the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Dapa Municipal Police Station, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Surigao del Norte Provincial Office, Dapa Rural Health Unit (RHU), BADACs and ROSE Inc., successfully commenced the 3rd Batch of the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) implementation held at the Evacuation center of Brgy. 13, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.
Seventy-seven (77) individuals voluntarily enrolled in the program that started with the Program Orientation, Screening, Profiling and Physical Examination.
This initiative highlights the LGU’s strong commitment to promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free community through continuous rehabilitation, awareness, and collaboration among local agencies and stakeholders. This ensures that individuals are supported on their journey toward recovery and reintegration.
