Dapitan Mourns the Passing of Former Mayor and Governor Rosalina “Nene” G. Jalosjos
The City Government of Dapitan joins the family, loved ones, friends, and the people of Zamboanga del Norte in mourning the passing of Former Dapitan City Mayor and Former Governor Rosalina “Nene” G. Jalosjos.
On behalf of the entire City Government of Dapitan, and the people of Dapitan, City Mayor Evelyn T. Uy, Vice Mayor Gabriel M. Cad, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod extends our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family during this time of profound loss.
We remember Ma’am Nene not only for the positions she held and the years she devoted to public service, but for the gentleness, warmth, and genuine care with which she led. To many Dapitanons, she will be remembered as a loving and compassionate leader whose presence carried a quiet strength and whose service left a lasting place in the story of our city and our province.
Her passing brings sorrow to a community that once looked to her for leadership, but the memory of her life and service will remain with the people whose lives she touched.
