𝐍𝐔 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢ñ𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 Monthly Coordination Meeting.

The Office of Community Extension (ComEx) of NU Dasmariñas successfully conducted the NUD ComEx Representatives monthly coordiantion meeting report.

Highlights of the session included presentations of the updates and accomplishment reports, documentation of community engagement activities, reviews of ComEx frameworks and procedures, and strategic discussions aimed at strengthening and sustaining extension programs.

A key outcome of the activity was the finalization of the proposed Calendar of ComEx Activities for AY 2026–2027, reinforcing a unified direction among schools, departments, and community stakeholders toward meaningful and transformative engagement.

The Office of Community Extension extends its heartfelt appreciation to all ComEx Representatives for their unwavering commitment, active participation, and continued dedication to making a positive difference in the communities we serve.

The NUD representatives continues its journey toward deeper environmental stewardship through Week 4: Recycling and Materials Sustainability and Waste Recycling and Community Zero-Waste Approaches in the LS-CET Program, held on September 26, 2026 at Don Bosco School of Theology, Parañaque City.

The session highlighted the importance of responsible material use, recycling, and community-based approaches to waste management in building more sustainable and environmentally conscious communities.

The NU Dasmariñas, through Community Extension (ComEx) Office, participated in the External Partners Stakeholders Meeting of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office IV-A, held on September 25, 2026 in General Trias, Cavite.

Representing the ComEx Office, Ms. April Ann Florano took part in the stakeholder engagement, which provided an avenue for external partners to strengthen collaboration, share insights, and explore opportunities for meaningful partnerships in advancing social development initiatives for beneficiaries.

LS-CET: NUD Participants in the International Coastal Cleanup 2026 🌊

On September 19, 2026, participants from NU Dasmariñas under the Laudato Si’ Certified Environmental Trainers (LS-CET) Program - Batch 8 took part in the International Coastal Cleanup 2026 as part of the 3rd session.

The session provided an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of coastal and marine environmental protection while taking part in a collective effort to care for our common home.

Through learning and action, the LS-CET participants continue to promote environmental stewardship, community engagement, and responsible care for creation. 💚🌏

Today, NU Dasmariñas volunteers actively participated in the International Coastal Cleanup 2026!

A big thank you to SM Cares and SM by the BAY for inviting us once again to be part of this meaningful initiative. This event aligns to UN SDG 14: Life Below Water, advocating for the protection and preservation of oceans and marine ecosystems.

We extend our deepest gratitude to dedicated NUD Volunteers—comprising our faculty, students, NSRC, and ComEx Brigade for offering their time and hard work. Every action counts toward a cleaner, healthier marine environment!

NU Dasmariñas representatives participated in the content sessions of the Laudato Si’ Certified Environmental Trainers’ Program (LS-CET) – Batch 8, in partnership with Don Bosco School of Theology.
