In accordance with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 13, s. 2024, the students and staff of Teofilo V. Fernandez National High School participated in the 4th Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) earlier today at 2 PM, under the guidance of Sir Bienvenido Libotan.

The Disaster Preparedness and Rescue Action Team (DPRAT), led by their Commander Jabe Tajones, in coordination with the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG), led by their President Arthur Opong, and the Senior Scouts (BSP), led by their Commander Vince Barsalote, assisted in conducting the drill.

Happy Birthday to our most dedicated DPRAT Adviser Ma’am Ayessa, may you have countless of blessings and prosperous days ahead.

On or about 1410hrs.

The Disaster Preparedness and Rescue Action Team responded to a report regarding a Raging Incident causing possible Left Knee Fracture.

Patient was Female, 15 Years Old from 8-Diamond, on duty personnel gave RICE as an intervention until higher qualified responders arrived on scene.

BDRRMC Indangan Head Edrian Abella Lati arrived on scene at 1418hrs., asessed the patient's condition and came into conclusion for a possible fracture of the left knee.

911 EMS Arrived on scene on or about 1453hrs. and the patient was out for transport to SPMC on 1510hrs. for further medical attention.

Sahagun, took part in the tree planting activity of the Department of Education alongside the Youth for Environment in Schools - Organization (YES-O) led by maam Lilybeth Joy Aoanan-Baguio and the Teachers led by sir Romeo E. Ticar Ed.d

The Disaster Preparedness and Rescue Action Team conducted its Team Building and First Aid Refresher Course. In the aims of building Camaraderie and Teamwork within the members.

The said activity was attended by 30 DPRAT Members these attendees were split into four teams, namely, Snake, Frog, Dog, and Cat. These teams battled it out in 4 team games.

Ultimately the Team Cat dominated the team games scoring 3/4 wins, followed closely by Team Dog, coming in third is Team Frog, and Team Snake comes last with only 1/4 wins.
