✨ **Madayaw!** ✨

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Region XI, under the leadership of Atty. Geroncio R. Aguio, CESO III and the NCIP Davao de Oro Provincial Office headed by Provincial Officer Roger S. Lumbin, MPA in coordination with the NCIP Medical Team led by Dr. Michael Louie Cruz and the NCIP Legal Team headed by Atty. Christine Angit, together with the Indigenous Political Structure (IPS) of New Bataan led by Matikadung Arnel Sugnoan, Municipal Tribal Chieftain, successfully conducted a Legal, Dental, Medical, Surgical, and Outreach Program on March 17, 2026 at Barangay Cabinuangan, New Bataan, Davao de Oro.

This initiative was implemented in partnership with the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Davao de Oro headed by Governor Raul G. Mabanglo, Local Government Unit of New Bataan, headed by Mayor Bianca Cualing-Brua; the Municipal Health Office (MHO) under Dr. Aurea Solilap; the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office headed by Marvin H. Ilajas; and the Provincial Health Office (PHO) led by Dr. Antonio Ybiernas, with the support of PhilHealth headed by Christopher Molina and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) headed by Abraham Enrico Gulay.

The activity was conducted in celebration of the Indigenous Peoples Day, locally known as "Al’law ng Tipanud", and aimed to deliver essential health, legal, and social services to Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), including medical and dental consultations, minor surgical procedures, legal assistance, and support for late birth registration.

𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂

In compliance with the directives of Memorandum Circular No. 114, the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples – Region XI informs the public that, effective March 9, 2026 (Monday), the Regional Office, Provincial Offices and Community Service Centers will implement a four-day on-site workweek (Monday-Thursday).

Under this arrangement, onsite hours will be from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while Fridays will be observed as mandatory work-from-home day for NCIP RXI personnel and staff.

To ensure the continued delivery of public service, clients may still reach NCIP Region XI, its Provincial Offices and Community Service Centers through its official online platforms.

The public is advised to schedule their visits and transactions accordingly.

Usa ka Mahinungdanong paghiusa sa mga Lumadnong Komunidad, karong adlawa gipahinungod isip Adlaw sa mga Kalumunan o Allaw ng kalumonan, Kini kabahin sa pagsaulog sa ika-19 nga Bulawan Festival ug ika-28 nga Founding Anniversary sa Probinsiya sa Davao de Oro. Usa kini ka higayon sa pagpasidungog sa kultura, tradisyon, ug bililhong kontribusyon sa Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) sa probinsiya. Gitambongan kini sa mga lider gikan sa nagkalain-laing lungsod sa probinsiya nga nagrepresentar sa unom ka tribu, nga naghiusa aron ipakita ang ilang kultura, ug identidad isip mga lumadnong katawhan.
Nagpakita usab sa ilang lig-ong suporta ang mga lider sa probinsiya, lakip si Gobernador Raul Mabanglo, Congressman Jhong Ceniza, ug Congresswoman Maricar Zamora Mabanglo. Sa ilang mga mensahe, ilang gipadayag ang padayon nga pagsuporta sa mga kalihukan ug programa alang sa ICCs/IPs, ug giila usab nila ang dako ug bililhong kontribusyon sa mga lumadnong komunidad sa pagpreserbar sa kultura ug sa padayong kalamboan sa probinsiya. Anaa usab ang presensya sa mga opisyal gikan sa National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) nga gipangulohan ni Regional Director Atty. Geroncio Aguio ug Provincial Officer Sir Roger Lumbin, nga nagpadayag sa ilang padayon nga suporta sa pagpanalipod sa katungod, kultura, ug kaayohan sa mga lumadnong katawhan.

The assessment and planning for the ADSDPP Enhancement of the Dibabawon and Manguangan ICCs/IPs of Montevista was conducted on February 11, 2026, at Lagare Function Hall, Montevista, Davao de Oro. The activity was attended by IP leaders from various barangays, representatives from the IP youth and women’s sectors, and NCIP Davao de Oro personnel, including Ma’am Divina Mae M. Tula, OIC of the Maragusan Community Service Center, and her staff Camille L. Del Fiero Cabigas (Midwife II) and Sitti Halifa M. Calsada (TAAll), who assisted in facilitating the activity.
