On May 20, ConGen ONO paid a courtesy call on Hon. Rogelio Neil Roque, Governor of Bukidnon Province. ConGen enjoyed friendly exchanges with Governor Roque, learning firsthand about Bukidnon’s strategic 5-Point Agenda and its key industries.

A major highlight of the discussion was the province’s exciting Coffee Roadmap and its efforts toward its inspiring goal of becoming the “Arabica Capital of the Philippines”. ⛰☕🌱

On May 20, Consul General ONO Hirotaka visited the Impalutao Dalwangan Sawaga (IMDALSA) Agrarian Reform Cooperative in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Founded in 2012, IMDALSA brings together passionate farmer associations from Barangays Impalutao and Dalwangan, alongside communities situated along the scenic Sawaga River.

Guided by General Manager Ms. Cora Llauderes (Cora M Lla), ConGen Ono toured the cooperative's nursery, farm, and elevated dryers. He also gained valuable insights into their specialized “Vietnam technique” for coffee production!
