Through the years, she has seen how compassion can shape lives, especially among our Special Needs Education learners, turning challenges into quiet triumphs and differences into strengths.

Known for her motherly heart and her charming kikay spirit, Ma’am Daisy brings warmth wherever she goes. She makes people feel seen, valued, and cared for, whether in the classroom, the office, or just in everyday moments.

Her service goes beyond duty. It is love in action. Through patience, kindness, and quiet dedication, she has helped bring the vision of the Department of Education to life, especially for those who need it most.

More than the years she has given, it is the lives she has changed that truly define her journey.

Davao City Special National High School is proud to announce the Grade 7 learners who successfully passed the screening process for the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) – Spanish, conducted on February 14, 21 and 25.

Among numerous applicants, 35 learners have distinguished themselves through their potential, confidence, and readiness to embark on their studies of the Spanish language and culture. ¡Excelente trabajo!

The Spanish Program Coordinator will contact the successful applicants to confirm their placement in the SPFL–Spanish Program. All learners are kindly requested to await the announcement of the final enrollment date for Grade 7.

We are pleased to announce that regular face-to-face classes will resume on Monday, October 20, 2025, following thorough safety assessments and consultations with local authorities. The previously implemented modular, asynchronous, or blended learning modalities, enacted on October 15, 2025, are hereby lifted.

The safety and stability of our community remain our top priority. After careful evaluation of structural integrity, utility restoration, and seismic activity reports, we confirm that schools are safe for the return of all learners and personnel.

Teaching and non-teaching personnel are required to report onsite beginning October 20, 2025, to resume regular operations. Teachers are directed to facilitate a smooth transition back to in-person learning, address any gaps from the interim period, and ensure all learners receive necessary academic support.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone for your resilience, cooperation, and adaptability during this challenging time. Let us continue to prioritize safety by adhering to emergency protocols, staying informed through official channels, and supporting one another as we reconnect in our classrooms.
