Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9849, and upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, the observance of Eīd al-Aḍḥā 1447 Hijrah shall be celebrated on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, corresponding to the 10th day of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1447H, and is hereby recognized as a regular national holiday throughout the country.

Eīd al-Aḍḥā, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is among the most significant occasions in Islam. It serves as a solemn reminder of faith, devotion, obedience, and compassion, commemorated through prayers, charitable acts, and the sharing of blessings with families and communities.

In line with this meaningful observance, the NCMF Davao Region extends its sincere greetings to the Muslim Ummah and encourages everyone to celebrate the occasion in the spirit of peace, unity, gratitude, and mutual respect.

May this blessed celebration strengthen harmony, brotherhood, and understanding among all people.
