Today, the Church celebrates the Memorial of Mary, Mother of the Church. This title was bestowed upon the Blessed Virgin Mary because she gave birth to Christ, the Head of the Church, and became Mother of the redeemed people of God. As we honor her maternal care and loving guidance, may she continue to accompany the faithful and lead all hearts closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us.
