In line with the PNP Focused Agenda through Enhanced Managing Police Operations,Davao del Sur PECU personnel thru the leadership of PCMS Joel L Paraiso, Team Leader, under supervision of PMAJ JOSEPH A NEBRIDA, OIC, RECU11 conducted distribution of ten (10) pieces of IEC materials to the passengers of Digos City bus terminal located at Brgy Aplaya, Digos City, Davao del Sur, regarding bomb awareness and also to encourage regular vigilance, communication to report potential threats with the partnership of the community and also address the effectiveness of their emergency preparedness and response to any threats specially in terrorism in our AOR.

PECU DAVAO DEL SUR ENSURES SAFETY AND SECURITY AT MALALAG’S 73RD SAGAWAK FESTIVAL

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ JOSEPH A NEBRIDA, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 11, personnel of the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Davao del Sur conducted security coverage through police presence, paneling, and sweeping operations for the 73rd Araw ng Malalag - Sagawak Festival at the Malalag Municipal Covered Court, Malalag, Davao del Sur.

These preventive measures are vital in preempting potential threats. Through a heightened presence at key venues, the Group remains committed to ensuring safety and providing a secure environment for this significant engagement.

In line with this, the message of the Chief, PNP was highlighted, underscored by the significant decline in the nationwide crime rate, achieved through strong collaboration with Local Government Units (LGUs), which serves as a definitive benchmark of the force's operational excellence. He commended the entire PNP for its unwavering readiness and institutional discipline, demanding that all units nationwide maintain this high standard of capability to ensure a safer and more secure nation.

PECU CEBU SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTES OPERATIONAL READINESS SIMEX

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PCPT YAZZER R MORON, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 7, personnel of the Provincial EOD and Canine Unit (PECU) Cebu successfully participated in a Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) responding to an unattended baggage at M. Logarta Ave., Cebu City, Cebu.

Designed to evaluate the operational readiness of first responders, the SIMEX successfully assessed incident dynamics, identified potential hazards, and streamlined agency interoperability in strict compliance with existing SOPs.

This exercise reaffirms our steadfast commitment to the safety and security of the general public.

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda and under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, personnel of RECU 4A under the supervision of PMAJ VERNON JOHN G LLOVIDO remain committed in promoting public safety awareness and strengthening community preparedness through proactive information dissemination and capability enhancement activities.

Personnel of PECU Rizal led by PCPT JEYAMA P CARIAZO successfully conducted a lecture and simulation exercise under Project A.B.K.D. or Awareness on Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Properties on May 21, 2026, at Casimiro A. Ynares Sr. Memorial National High School in preparation for the opening of Brigada Eskwela for Calendar Year 2026–2027.

The activity was attended by approximately 100 teachers, school staff, employees, and security officers who were equipped with essential knowledge and practical awareness on bomb threat preparedness and emergency response procedures.

The lecture focused on the identification and characteristics of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), proper evacuation procedures, establishment of safety cordons, and appropriate handling of bomb threat situations. A simulation exercise was also conducted to strengthen the participants’ preparedness and responsiveness during emergency scenarios.

CECU ZAMBOANGA SECURITY COVERAGE BOLSTERS SAFETY AT THE OPENING OF SHARI'AH SPECIAL BAR EXAMS IN ZAMBOANGA CITY

In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Enhanced-Managing Police Operations, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Director, PNP-EOD/K9 Group, and under the supervision of PMAJ EDGAR REGIDOR C MIGUEL, Officer-in-Charge, RECU 9, personnel from the City EOD and Canine Unit (CECU) Zamboanga conducted security coverage through paneling and sweeping operations for the 1st Day of Shari'ah Special Bar Exam at the Ateneo De Zamboanga University, Zamboanga City.
