On September 10, 2026, Davao Sur PECU personnel led by PCMS Joel L Paraiso, Team Leader, under the supervision of PMAJ MICHAEL M BINWAG, OIC, RECU 11 participated in the 3rd Quarter CY 2026 Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for CY 2026 in collaboration with the Davao Sur Police Provincial Office (DSPPO), the City and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRNO/PDRRMO) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). held at the DSPPO, Brgy. San Agustin, Digos City, Davao del Sur.
The activity aimed to enhance the disaster preparedness and response capabilities of all personnel in the event of an earthquake. It involved the ex*****on of the standard โ€œDuck, Cover, and Holdโ€ procedure, followed by an evacuation drill and assembly at the designated area.
