Grateful to have spent this season mentoring and working alongside these amazing interns from
University of Southern Mindanao,
Visayas State University,
Mindanao State University,
Central Mindanao University, and
Bukidnon State University ๐ค
At the Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, learning goes beyond textbooks. Itโs about hands-on experience, discipline, responsibility, and developing a heart for serviceโespecially in safeguarding animal health and supporting our agricultural community.
Each of you brought dedication, curiosity, and a willingness to learnโeven in the smallest and most routine tasks. From sample handling to diagnostics, you showed growth, teamwork, and professionalism that truly reflect your potential as future scientists and practitioners.
Different schools, different storiesโbut one shared purpose: to learn, to serve, and to make a difference. โจ
Weโre proud of how far youโve come, and weโre excited to see where this journey takes you. Keep striving, keep learning, and never lose the passion to serve.
Congratulations, interns! ๐๐ค

A total of 30 captive-bred and rescued Philippine Eagles from the Philippine Eagle Center and the National Bird Breeding Sanctuary underwent their Annual Comprehensive Physical Check-up.
The veterinary team performed thorough hands-on examinationsโassessing vital signs, body condition, feather quality, and overall health status. This scheduled annual procedure complements the eaglesโ regular daily monitoring and ongoing veterinary care, allowing for an in-depth, full physical assessment under controlled conditions.
Proactive health management is a cornerstone of conservation. Through continuous monitoring and annual in-depth assessments, we help ensure that each eagle remains strong, healthy, and ready to thrive.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the team from Dr. Bayani Animal Wellness Clinic, our colleagues from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office of Mati City for their invaluable support, and the Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (RADDL)-Bureau of Animal Industry-DA, for conducting disease screening laboratory tests across the years. We also thank all volunteers and trainees who contributed to the success of this activity.

Hello, December! โค๏ธ
Weโre welcoming the first day of the month with the vibrant colors of these Eclectus parrotsโshowing off their natural reds and greens that perfectly match the holiday season. As we enter this joyful month, may we all be reminded to keep our pets healthy, cared for, and thriving.
And not just our birdsโletโs also continue caring for our ruminats. Whether feathered or four-legged, every animal deserves proper nutrition, attention, and love.
Just like these parrots, letโs start December bright, lively, and full of life. ๐ฟโค๏ธ๐
