On November 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM, PS9 personnel under the direct supervision of PMAJ NEIL M VISTAR, Station Commander conducted information drive and dialogue regarding the commemoration of Bonifacio Day and for the possible protest actions of the various groups with the community people at Barangay Sto. Nino, Tugbok District, Davao City.

A STEP OF KINDNESS: COPS GIVES SLIPPERS TO BAGONG SILANGAN KIDS

As the Christmas season ushers in a spirit of sharing and compassion, the Payatas–Bagong Silangan Police Station 13 of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), brought warmth to the streets of Brgy. Bagong Silangan through “Project Tsinelas.”

In a simple yet heartfelt outreach activity, personnel of Station 13 visited areas along the barangay to give slippers to random children they encountered on the streets. Many of these youngsters often walk barefoot or with worn-out footwear, exposed daily to rough pavements and hazards. The initiative sought not only to provide comfort and protection for their feet, but also to let them feel the presence of a police force that genuinely cares.

“Project Tsinelas” is a small gesture with a big intention—to remind the community that the PNP stands with them not only in times of crisis, but also in moments of kindness and hope. Their simple smiles as they received new slippers reflected how even modest acts can touch lives in meaningful ways.

Acting Chief PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. commended the effort, highlighting how such initiatives mirror the true heart of public service, especially during the holidays.

“Ang puso na marunong magbigay ay pusong pinagpapala,” he said. “Our personnel in QCPD Station 13 remind us that every act of generosity—no matter how small—can strengthen trust, uplift dignity, and bring our police closer to the communities we serve.”

The PNP continues to encourage its units nationwide to embrace community-oriented programs that embody compassion, unity, and the spirit of Bayanihan, especially in a season defined by giving and goodwill.

Executed the Warrant of Arrest (OWP) which resulted in the arrest of the suspect for violation of The Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act, RA11765 strengthens consumer protection in all financial transactions, including banking, loans, e-wallets, insurance, and investments. It gives consumers the right to fair treatment, clear information, data privacy, and proper handling of complaints.

The law empowers the BSP, SEC, and IC to regulate financial institutions, stop abusive practices, and impose penalties for violations. It also prohibits misleading ads, hidden charges, and harassment in collections. Overall, RA 11765 ensures safer, transparent, and more responsible financial services for Filipinos.
