{July 10,2025} School Governance Council convened, welcoming new set of officers and members for S.Y 2025-2025.
Doc. Alexis Parenas as the new Elected SGC Co- Chairperson embraced and welcomed the position heartily as an opportunity to serve and bring services to the school community.
Outgoing SGC Elected Co- Chairperson Peter Cubelo, thanked the school and the SGC members for the trust and confidence given to him for the last three years. " When you commit to serve, you must mean it" he quotes.

Last February 5, 2024 SGC Designated Co- Chairperson Dahlia G. Maglasang, PhD joined in the symbolic signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Cabantian National High School and Barangay Cabantian. The said MOU shall address the problems on truancy, illegal drugs, early pregnancy, smoking/ va**ng and drop- outs. Both parties agree of creating joint working group to operationalize the partnership and joint steering committee to monitor the progress of the MOU.

Implementing and exercising Shared Governance and Feedback mechanism as its function, SGC Designated CO-Chairperson Dahlia G. Maglasang, PhD and SPTA President Maximino VP Ventura joins the Grade 10 Level consultative meeting for the venue of the upcoming Moving Up Ceremony.

Pursuant to DM-OUHROD-1700 to conduct 12 Days of Christmas: Makulay ang Pasko ng Pamilyang Pilipino.
As part of the 12 days activity December 11 ,2023 is Stakeholders' Christmas Story.
School Governance Council - Cabantian NHS Elected Co Chairperson Peter C. Cubelo leads the story telling to Grade 7 STE learners at the Computer Laboratory.
"Gift of Magi" by O' Henry having the theme of greatest gift of all is unconditional love. Through the sacrifice of Della and Jim make for one another, they prove love is more important than material possessions.
Students received prizes for every correct answer shared during the discussion as follow up to prove that indeed they understood the story narrated to them.

Cluster 12 School Heads, headed by Roberto R. Binag, PhD, PIC, benchmarks the School Governance Council - Cabantian NHS. The school take pride and honor as host school, sharing its accomplishments and practices as a functional SGC.
