A total of 45 DCSS students emerged victorious in the 2026 International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition, held online from March 21 to 27, 2026.

This year, over 10,400 participants nationwide took part in the contest.
The Philippines' achievers won 154 gold, 533 silver, 1,035 bronze, and 651 Merit certificates, showing strong performance across all levels and the students' exceptional ability and readiness to compete on a global stage.

Organized by the Association Kangourou sans Frontières (AKSF) based in Paris, the International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition is one of the world’s largest math events, drawing over 6 million students from more than 100 countries annually.

Out of more than 500 students who took the Ateneo Junior High School MAGIS Scholarship exam, only 15 were selected and we are incredibly blessed to share that Mikhael Jacob Duron is one of them!

Your hard work, discipline, and determination have truly paid off. This achievement is not just a milestone, but a testament to your dedication and excellence.

Congratulations, Ateneo MAGIS Scholar! 🎉

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Zac Gabriel V. Siangco, who secured 1st Place in the Math & Science Challenge – Robolution (Biology Category 1)!

Zac previously represented our school in the regional round held at Ateneo de Davao University last September. Originally, the final round was set to take place in Dubai, but due to peace and order concerns, the competition was conducted online. Despite the challenges, Zac rose above and delivered an outstanding performance during last Sunday’s contest, with the awarding ceremony held yesterday.
