Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, Malacañang Palace has declared the following holidays in observance of Holy Week:

Regular Holidays
• Thursday, April 2, 2026 – Maundy Thursday
• Friday, April 3, 2026 – Good Friday

Special (Non-Working) Holiday
• Saturday, April 4, 2026 – Black Saturday

In line with this, in observance of the Holy Week, the office of Barangay 12-B Poblacion will be closed from April 2 to April 5, 2026, regular office hour will resume on April 6, 2026 (Monday).

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝 (𝐕𝐈𝐀) 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

In celebration of National Women's Month, this office, through the Gender and Development (GAD) Project, in collaboration with DAVAO City Health Office was successfully conducted the free cervical cancer screening on March 26, 2026 at the Barangay 12-B Health Center, Brgy. 12-B, Poblacion District, Davao City as part of its continuing commitment to promote women's health, wellness and empowerment in the community.

The cervical cancer screening was conducted through Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) to ensure that any signs of the disease are detected early.

This is good news because cervical cancer can be prevented and treated if detected early. Cervical cancer is also one of the few types of cancer that has a vaccine and screening.

The 1st. Barangay Assembly Day of Barangay 12-B for CY 2026 was successfully conducted last March 29, 2026 at Barangay 12-B, Poblacion District, Davao City.
