SA SUNOG HINDI KA NAG-IISA: FIRE PREVENTION MONTH 2026🔥🚒

Today, we gather to officially launch Fire Prevention Month, a time dedicated to promoting awareness, preparedness, and responsibility when it comes to fire safety in our community. This celebration reminds us that preventing fire incidents is not only the duty of our responders but a shared responsibility of every member of the community.

We are also honored to witness the blessing of the newly acquired Penetrator Fire and Rescue Vehicle, Rescue Vehicle, and Mobile Kitchen, which will greatly strengthen our capacity to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies and disasters. These new resources symbolize our continuous commitment to protecting lives, safeguarding properties, and serving the community with dedication.

May these additions further empower our responders and remind all of us to remain vigilant, prepared, and united in ensuring a safer community for everyone.

Igmat kita. Padayon sa pag-alagad! 🔥🚒

RESPONDERS BY DUTY, TEAM BY HEART 🚒🔥

First of all, our heartfelt gratitude to the Davao City Fire District for organizing a meaningful and exciting Fire Olympic. This event truly showed the unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among barangay responders and volunteers, and gave us the chance to connect not only during emergencies but also through friendly competition.

Special thanks to 𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧 from SIR Fire Station for adopting our team without hesitation. Your kindness, trust, and support mean so much to us.

And also to Barangay Bucana, thank you so much for your guidance and support. In every practice, you shared your knowledge and helped us brainstorm our strategies for this event. Through those moments, we built strong camaraderie and teamwork. Our groups may have come from different areas, but together we became one solid team. We truly appreciate all the time, effort, and lessons you shared with us.

We are also grateful to Barangay Catalunan Pequeño, and Barangay Talomo Proper for allowing us to practice in your areas and lending us PPE during the games.

To our Honorable Joel A. Santes, thank you, Kap, for taking time to visit and support the BDRRMC despite your busy schedule. To our Operations Head John Matthew Santes, thank you for your leadership and support that kept our team motivated from the beginning.

And to our players and team members, thank you for your dedication, patience, and hard work during all the trainings. Even if we did not bring home the championship, we know we gave our best and proudly represented our barangay.

The experience, lessons, and friendships we gained are victories no trophy can replace.

Igmat kita. Padayon! 🔥🚒
