The new law is a first step to fend off text scammers while guaranteeing utmost respect to fundamental human rights.

Any information obtained in SIM registration will be treated with absolute confidentiality except in compliance with any law or court order authorizing the disclosure of personal information upon finding of probable cause.

At exactly 12:00 noon today, September 06, 2022, the Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) will conduct the Citywide Siren Testing, together with all Barangay Sirens.

The following Citywide Sirens will be triggered remotely, which are located at:

1. Brgy. Marapangi
2. Brgy. Lizada (Toril Fishport)
3. Brgy. Talomo Proper (Taal & Salakot)
4. Brgy. Matina Pangi
5. Brgy. Matina Aplaya
6. Brgy. Bucana
7. Brgy. Maa
8. Brgy. 39-D (City Hall Annex)
9. Brgy. V. Duterte (MATS)
10. Brgy. Tigatto
11. Brgy. Panacan
12. Brgy. Bunawan Proper
13. Brgy. Lasang

Only Brgy. 23-C and Sirawan Sirens will be triggered manually today.

You will hear a "STEADY-TONE" for the said testing.
