𝐓𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐲!

In collaboration with the EGE 312 students of University of Southeastern Philippines, we successfully conducted a coastal clean-up and mangrove growing activity as part of our commitment to environmental protection and coastal restoration.

Around 150 Sonneratia and Avicennia species (pagatpat and bungalon), 15 Aegiceras spp. (tinduktinukan), 10 Ceriops spp., and 3 Xylocarpus spp. were utilized in the activity. Proper site assessment and zonation were also observed to ensure that each species was placed in its suitable ecological area, supporting better growth and survival.

Different species of mangroves are being prepared for this week’s tree growing activity as part of our ongoing mangrove restoration efforts to support coastal protection and ecosystem recovery, encouraging greater community involvement in environmental conservation.

We were honored to be invited by the EGE 312 students of the University of Southeastern Philippines as guest speakers for “Caring for Our Earth, Caring for Our Future.”

We shared insights about the environment, how to care for it, and the impact of human actions at the Field of Dreams Children’s Charity Foundation. The experience became even more meaningful through shared meals, laughter, and games.
