PNP MESSAGE FOR LABOR DAY 2026
(ARAW NG MGA MANGGAGAWA)

Sa paggunita ng Araw ng mga Manggagawa, kinikilala ng Philippine National Police ang mahalagang ambag ng bawat Pilipinong manggagawaโ€”ang tunay na lakas na nagpapatakbo sa ating ekonomiya at humuhubog sa kinabukasan ng ating bansa.

Ang paggawa ay hindi lamang hanapbuhay; ito ay dangal, sakripisyo, at pag-asa. Mula sa mga pabrika, opisina, lansangan, hanggang sa mga tahanan, ang bawat patak ng pawis ay pundasyon ng isang mas matatag at mas maunlad na Pilipinas.

Kasabay nito, nirerespeto at pinangangalagaan ng PNP ang karapatan ng mga manggagawa na magpahayag at magtipon nang mapayapa. Ang kapulisan ay nariyan hindi upang hadlangan ang tinig ng mamamayan, kundi upang tiyakin na ang bawat pagkilos ay ligtas, maayos, at may paggalang sa kapwa.

Sa patuloy na pagharap sa mga hamon ng buhay, kaisa ninyo ang PNP sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at seguridadโ€”upang makapagtrabaho kayo nang may kapanatagan ng loob.

Ang Araw ng mga Manggagawa ay paalala na ang lakas ng Pilipinas ay nagmumula sa marangal na paggawa at pagkakaisa ng bawat Pilipino.

Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Buhangin, Davao City โ€” The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) recorded substantial accomplishments in its intensified anti-criminality campaign during its 24-hour operational period from April 27, 2026 to April 28, 2026.

In the campaign against illegal drugs, a total of 11 operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 11 personalities, including two (2) High-Value Individuals (HVI) and nine (9) Street-Level Individuals (SLI). Authorities confiscated shabu and ma*****na, with a total standard drug price of PhP 485,612.00.

Simultaneously, PRO 11 intensified its crackdown on loose fi****ms, conducting 10 operations that led to the arrest of three (3)individuals and the confiscation of three (3)fi****ms. Additionally, 11 fi****ms were deposited or surrendered, contributing to the ongoing effort to reduce the proliferation of unlicensed weapons in the region.

In the drive against wanted persons, 27 operations resulted in the arrest of 27 individuals. Of these, 12 were listed as most wanted persons in the municipal level, while 15 were categorized as other wanted persons, reflecting the sustained manhunt efforts of PRO 11.

Operations against illegal gambling also yielded positive results, with 4 operations conducted, four (4) individuals arrested, and 17 pieces of gambling paraphernalia seized. A total of PhP 1,070.00 in gambling money was confiscated.

Meanwhile, the enforcement of local ordinances remained robust, with 1,234 operations conducted, leading to 1,234 violators apprehended and 1,036 individuals fined, demonstrating strong community-level law enforcement.

PRO 11 Regional Director PBGEN LEON VICTOR Z ROSETE lauded the operating units for their relentless efforts and reaffirmed the commandโ€™s commitment to the Philippine National Policeโ€™s intensified campaign against all forms of criminality.

โ€œThese accomplishments reflect our sustained operational tempo and our firm commitment to the PNPโ€™s Focused Agenda of the Chief, PNP, PGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ, JR. We will continue to strengthen our strategies, enhance police visibility, and ensure that law enforcement efforts translate into safer communities across Region 11,โ€ PBGEN ROSETE said.

PRO 11 assures the public that it will remain steadfast in its mandate to uphold peace and order, intensify law enforcement operations, and foster stronger collaboration with the community in maintaining public safety.

The Davao City Police Office, under the leadership of PCOL MANNAN C MUARIP, Acting City Director, facilitated an HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Orientation and Free HPV Screening conducted by the Davao City Health Office, led by Ms. Lynn B. Divinagracia, RM, as part of the activities in line with the 2026 National Womenโ€™s Month celebration.

This health and wellness program was dedicated to the PNP and NUP women personnel of DCPO, promoting awareness on womenโ€™s health, the importance of early detection, and prevention of HPV-related diseases. The initiative underscores the DCPOโ€™s commitment to safeguarding not only the safety of the community but also the well-being of its women personnel.

Through collaborative efforts with partner agencies, the Davao City Police Office continues to support programs that empower, protect, and uplift women in service.
