𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗞 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗢 𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗦 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 10𝗜𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – On 14 May 2026, Task Force Davao successfully underwent the Annual General Inspection conducted by Colonel Allan M. Tesoro, Officer-in-Charge Division Inspector General (DIG), together with the inspection team from the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, at the Task Force Davao Headquarters, Sta. Ana Wharf, Leon Garcia Street, Davao City.

The inspection was conducted to evaluate the unit’s operational readiness, administrative effectiveness, compliance with established military directives, and overall capability to efficiently execute its mandated mission and responsibilities. It also ensured that the unit’s personnel, operational systems, facilities, and equipment remain mission-capable, responsive, and fully aligned with its commitment to maintaining peace, security, and public safety in Davao City and IGACOS.

Throughout the activity, various offices within the unit presented their respective accomplishments, programs, reports, and supporting documents for assessment. The inspection team carried out a comprehensive review of critical functional areas, including personnel administration, logistics and supply management, equipment serviceability, operational preparedness, Civil-Military Operations (CMO), and adherence to military standards, procedures, and protocols.

The inspection concluded with an excellent overall rating for TF Davao, signifying the unit’s outstanding operational effectiveness, strict observance of military standards, and sustained mission readiness. The result further highlighted Task Force Davao’s steadfast commitment to military excellence, disciplined performance, and professional service, ensuring that the unit remains fully prepared, capable, and responsive in accomplishing its mandated mission and addressing any security challenge within its area of responsibility.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞: 𝐂𝐀𝐀 𝐈𝐈 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 01-2026 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.

IGACOS— The Closing Ceremony for the Civilian Active Auxiliary (CAA) II Basic Military Training Class 01-2026 was successfully held on 12 May 2026 at the District Hall, Barangay Poblacion, Kaputian District III, Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS). This milestone marked the official conclusion of the trainees’ 45-day intensive military training program.

The ceremony was highlighted by the presence of City Mayor Hon. Lemuel T. Reyes, who served as the keynote speaker. Joining him were Colonel Rodrigo A Mariñas Jr., Commander of Task Force
Davao; Lieutenant Colonel Jose Ma Adrialex C Gumba, Commander of Task Group IGACOS; along with other military officers, community leaders, families and the training staff who guided the trainees throughout the course.

During the program, outstanding graduates were recognized and awarded for their exemplary performance in academics, leadership, and physical fitness. All trainees received their certificates of completion, formally confirming that they have met all standards and competencies required under the official training curriculum.

As they formally enter active service, members of CAA II Class 01-2026 will be deployed to support peace and order initiatives,
disaster response operations, and community development programs. They will work closely with local government units and security agencies to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of residents across their assigned areas.

This activity marks not only the end of a rigorous training journey but also the start of their enduring commitment to serve with discipline, integrity, and dedication. The graduates stand fully ready to contribute meaningfully to peace maintenance, public security, and nation-building efforts in their communities

DAVAO CITY – On May 03, 2026, at the Wireless Masonic Cemetery, where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers is located. The City Government of Davao led the commemoration of the 81st Liberation Day of Davao through a wreath-laying ceremony. In support of this significant event, Task Force Davao provided honor guards and rendered a 21-gun salute to pay tribute to the brave heroes who fought for the country’s freedom during World War II.

The liberation of Davao marked the conclusion of the longest battle campaign in the Philippines, with intense fighting that continued for several months after the official partial liberation from Japanese occupation on May 3, 1945, by the United States Army and Philippine Commonwealth troops.

The activity aimed to pay tribute to the bravery and supreme sacrifice of both Filipino and American forces, as well as the guerrillas who fought for the freedom and independence of the city during World War II. It also underscored the importance of preserving the legacy of heroism for present and future generations, reminding everyone of the enduring value of peace, unity, and national sovereignty.

Task Force Davao remains steadfast in upholding the legacy of the liberators by ensuring the security, peace, and order of Davao City and its surrounding areas. The unit continues to stand as a reliable defender of the community, ever ready to serve and protect the people.
