Congratulations to NEXT Party on their official recognition as a student political party at Davao Central College! Through the endorsement of the College Supreme Student Government (CSSG) COMELEC, this milestone strengthens campus democracy and opens doors for active participation in elections.​

The CSSG COMELEC at Davao Central College formally endorses recognized parties like NEXT PARTY after evaluating their candidacy documents and compliance with the school's election code. This step ensures fair governance, allowing NEXT PARTY to field candidates, such as for CSSG president, and conduct voter drives.​

With COMELEC backing, NEXT PARTY can now engage in official campaigning during designated periods, adhering to rules on materials and prohibitions against unauthorized benefits. This endorsement fosters leadership growth, aligning with the college's emphasis on patriotism and student involvement.

Davao Central College continues to strengthen its commitment to democratic participation and student leadership with the official recognition of the NEXT Party as a duly acknowledged student political party of the College Supreme Student Government (CSSG). The recognition was formally approved by Dr. Ruben L. Dela Cruz, School President, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s student political system.

Formally known as the Neoteric, Explicit, Xenial, and Transparent (NEXT) Party, the organization has been an active force in student governance since its establishment in 2022. Over the years, the party has consistently advanced the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance—values that align with the core mission of Davao Central College. Through successive leadership terms, the NEXT Party has demonstrated organizational stability, ethical leadership, and a sustained commitment to student representation.

The official recognition of the NEXT Party affirms its role in promoting a structured and values-driven political environment within the CSSG. As a recognized student political party, NEXT is now formally empowered to participate in every CSSG Election, helping ensure a steady pool of competent, prepared, and service-oriented student leaders. This development also supports the CSSG–Commission on Election’s objective of maintaining a credible, competitive, and principled electoral process.

College administrators and student leaders alike view this recognition as a positive step toward deepening democratic engagement on campus. By institutionalizing student political parties such as NEXT, Davao Central College reinforces the importance of leadership formation, accountability, and active student participation in governance.

The recognition of the NEXT Party stands as a testament to the College’s trust in student-led initiatives and its continued support for transparent and inclusive leadership. As the NEXT Party moves forward under its official status, it remains committed to its founding vision of shaping responsible student leaders and contributing meaningfully to the progress of the Davao Central College community.

🕐 Schedule:
𝗠𝗪𝗙: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
𝗧𝗧𝗛: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

⚠️ 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓: Membership fees will NOT be accepted during clearance signing — only clearance processing will be catered.

𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐌 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄

The Davao Central College Commission on Election (COMELEC) reminds all tertiary students of their responsibility to participate the department election as part of upholding the values of leadership, responsibility, and commitment within our academic community.

In accordance with COMELEC Memo No. 001, S.Y. 2025–2026, students who fail to cast their votes during the scheduled department election day shall be subject to a sanction. Each non-participating student is required to donate the following school supplies:

📘 1 notebook (80 leaves)

🖊️ 1 ballpen

📄 1 pad of yellow paper

✉️ 1 long plastic envelope

These donations will be collected by the CSSG officers and turned over to a chosen school as part of the DCC Students’ Community Extension Program.
