We were honored to welcome the Department of Science and Technology – National Academy of Science and Technology (DOST-NAST) and DOST Davao Region to MARIAN TBI yesterday!

The visit was conducted in line with the Regional Capacity Development on Developing Scenario-Based Indicators towards PAGTANAW 2050, under Project 1: Development of the PAGTANAW 2050 – the Philippine ST&I Foresight Indicators.

During the visit, we proudly showcased our incubated tech solutions, which were warmly received especially those focused on improving healthcare delivery and advancing mental health support. 💙🧠 Our innovations aim to address pressing health challenges through impactful, technology-driven approaches, and it was truly encouraging to see them recognized as valuable contributions to the sector.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the entire DOST-NAST and DOST Davao Region delegation for taking the time to visit and engage with our innovators. We also thank Dr. Anthony C. Sales, PFT, CESO III, Regional Director of DOST-Davao, and Dr. Luningning E. As a proud member of the Davao Region Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development Consortium (DRIEERDC), we had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion with Dr. Anthony C. Sales, Regional Director of DOST Region XI, together with Dr. Nathan Ray Alim and the rest of the DOST XI team.
The discussion explored potential applied research collaborations focused on precision and sustainable agriculture and waste valorization in Region XI—aimed at translating science and innovation into real, on-the-ground impact.
