To all selected DCCians for the 2014 Division's Press Conference, please report to Sir Neil this monday (Oct.20,2014) at exactly 8:30 a.m. at Davao Central College.
This is for the preparation of the said inter-school competition.
Names will be announced later.
P.S.: ATTENDANCE IS A MUST. This announcement is only for the English writers, and Filipino and English radio broadcasters.
Davao Central College celebrates the culmination day today, July 31, 2014 of the Nutrition Month, which was launched last July 14, 2014, with the theme,"Kalamidad Paghandaan. Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan.".
The culminating program is celebrated by both the students and the teachers through group and class contests.
The morning contests are essay writing, room exhibit, and poster making. Afterwhich, in the afternoon from 1:30p.m.-3:30p.m. is the contest proper. The afternoon competition becomes even hotter. It is comprised with the mascot-making contest and the most awaited nutrijingle.
In the highschool, essay writing is won by Ms. Trisha Abellana. Room exhibit competition is won by the IV-Hope and the poster making by the fourth-year students, Ms. Alyssa Danielle Guevarra and Rizza Mae Herrera. The mascot-making contest is won by the Grade-9 and the nutrijingle by the fourth-year.
The program serves it purpose: to raise awareness awareness among the students to be ready during calamities through healthy living.
Eager to win, all freshmen and transferees strongly but healthily compete during the Freshmen and Transferees Day today, July 28,2014 at Davao Central College.
From the Power Dance to the Mr. and Ms. F.A.T. upto the games, all groups, together with their facilitators, participate well to bring home the bacon.
Because of the support from the school administations, teachers, parents, selected clubs and facilitators and with the cooperation of the freshmen and transferees, the success of The Freshmen and Transferees Day 2014 becomes possible.
Today marks the last practice for the Freshmen and Transferees Day which will be held on July 28,2014 at the Davao Central College. For almost two weeks, all freshmen and transferees have been preparing to showcase their talents as new DCCians.
This whole day program (Freshmen and Transferees Day) is comprised with a powerdance and a pageant in the morning and group games which will be held in the afternoon.
Organized by the Supreme Student Council S.Y. 2014-2015 with the partnership of the school administration and with the help of the facilitators (selected Grade-9 and Fourth-Year students) and some of the school's official clubs, this program is expected to be a successful one.
